V is an American science fiction TV series, premiered on ABC network on November 3, 2009. The TV show has as its starting point the 1983 miniseries created by Kenneth Johnson.

The new TV series chronicles the arrival on Earth of an advanced alien species who seem to come in peace, but actually have obscure motives.
Giant spaceships appear over 29 major cities in the world, and the leader of the “Visitors“, Anna (Morena Baccarin) claims they come in peace. Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell), an FBI counter-terrorism agent finds out that the aliens were infiltrating governments, organizations and religious institutions for decades and now should be the final stage of taking over the world.

Evans will join a resistance movement, formed of people that also doubt the benevolence of the aliens and with the help of Ryan (Morris Chestnut), a Visitor agent who wants to save humanity, will try to overthrow the aliens plans.
