Heroes

Heroes is an American science fiction TV series, who first aired on NBC network on September 25, 2006. Heroes portrays several ordinary people who wake up one day to discover they possess great powers, but also, as the sayings goes, these powers will come with great responsibilities.

The first season presents about 12 major superhuman roles, from which we remember: Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) who has the ability of controlling time and space, Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) who is a congressional candidate with the ability of self-propelled flight, Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere), a cheerleader having regenerations powers, Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) is an LAPD police officer who can read minds and eventually manipulate thoughts, Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) who’s Nathan’s brother and has the power to mimic and absorb the powers of people with special abilities.

Although at first the heroes don’t seem to have any connection one with another, as the episodes go by, we’ll see that they are all connected somehow and a big conspiracy unfolds as well as a nuclear bomb danger that they seem chosen to stop.
With every mystery that they solve, they will come closer to each other and the purpose for they were created.

Heroes was won from 2006 until now a number of awards: Golden Globes, British Academy Television Awards, Primetime Emmy awards, People’s Choice Awards.
