Glee

Glee is an American comedy-drama TV series that aired its pilot episode on FOX, on May 19, 2009. The rest of the first season began airing on September 9, 2009.

The series follows Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison), an optimistic high school teacher who tries to revive and restore to its former glory the school’s Glee Club. But in order to do that, Will needs to put together a team – which turns out to be not the easiest task ever.

Helped by his fellow teacher Emma Pillsburry (Jayma Mays) Will sets out to gather his needed team which will include Kurt (Chris Colfer), a nerdy soprano with a flair for the dramatic, Mercedes (Amber Riley), a dynamic diva-in-training who refuses to sing back up, Arty (Kevin McHale, “True Blood”), a geeky guitarist who attracts more bullies than girls and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz, “Spring Awakening”), an awkward girl who needs to suppress her stutter before her center stage solo.

But Will’s hope for success lies with two natural talents: Rachel (Lea Michele), a perfectionist singer who dreams of a star like future and Finn (Cory Monteith), the popular high school quarterback with a Motown voice who tries to protect his cool reputation.

Will is determined to succeed in his endeavor to bring the Glee Club in front and despite everyone who thinks he’s nuts, he’s ready to surprise them…
