Chuck is an American action-comedy series that premiered on September 24, 2007 on NBC network. Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) is a young computer expert who will find himself thrown in a world of spies and secret agents.

Upon receiving an email from his former roommate, Bryce Larkin, a “rogue” CIA secret agent Chuck‘s life is about to change significantly. After Chuck opens the message, the entire database – a neural supercomputer called The Intersect – of the US government’s secret information is downloaded into his brain.

The CIA and NSA want now to get back the loss information, but since Bryce has destroyed the government’s copy, Chuck is the only one who has it. Chuck is experiencing sometimes flashes of information from the database triggered by certain factors like voices, faces, different objects, in-context keywords. Now he must help the government fight against terrorism, assassins and other threats like that and still keep a low profile and not draw attention to him.

NSA and CIA dispatch two agents to make sure that the information is secure and to collect more intelligence. These are Major John Casey (Adam Baldwin), who will take an undercover job to Buy More (the place where Chuck works) and Agent Sarah Walker, who will pose as Chuck’s girlfriend and work at a nearby restaurant.

The plot thickens throughout the show, as it turns out that Bryce was only trying to protect The Intersect from the real rogue agents infiltrated in the agencies.
